"IT MUST BE STRONG, BEAUTIFUL, AND TRUE!"
This is what Peggy has said about the criteria for her artwork - all 90+ years of it!
Determined not just to make pretty paintings, Peggy has dedicated her long and productive life to the service of struggle for a better world for all people. She is a true Painter-for-the-People.
Born in London, England in 1918, Peggy studied art and music as a young girl and remembers lugging her cello on the London bus to get to music lessons. A favorite art teacher saw something of her special talent and encouraged her to further that gift.
Still painting at age 99, Peggy is an inspiration to all those who know her!
